    Eating Breakfast

I always eat breakfast now but I noticed that when you eat breakfast you get hungrier earlier for lunch. Once you eat breakfast your body realizes it wants food all day.

    They baffle me

They know it's taboo and that they're getting away with something. They're like little kids (or men), if you're trying to stop them from doing something they're going to want it more. :)

    Won't Listen

I think it might be the old 'men are from Mars, women are from Venus' thing. You might be trying to share your feelings but he might just be hearing it as complaining.

    Nephew is a bully

I don't have kids but I do want the best for my nieces and nephews. Is there an appropriate way to tell my sister that her son is really getting out of control? She works a lot and he's her baby (11yrs old) and she just doesn't see it. Moms out there-would you want to know?

Foods to Avoid During Your Period

I"ve heard the opposite. The reason women want chocolate is because of the chemicals it releases when you eat it. I've always heard that you should avoid caffeine.

    Target automatic doors

I heard back from Customer Service. They wanted my phone # and DOB-probably to check to see if there's any lawsuits or if I'm a litigious person in general. Can't go to a chiropractor because I had steel rods put in my back at birth. Have full use of arms and legs which makes it easier to do...

    meditation/sleeping

I've tried meditating both first thing in the morning and at various times throughout the day. Maybe my body is so happy that I've pushed stress/thought right out of my brain that it just goes to sleep in response. :)

    Menstrual Cramps and Passing Out

I'd talk to your doctor immediately. Maybe your body can't take synthetic hormones anymore. Passing out seems really worrisome. Do you get dizzy before you pass out?

    Pain and depression

So here I am, a week after my run-in with the Target door and it is taking too long to recuperate. (Because I'm over 40!) My apartment is a pigsty, I'm not doing enough online work to meet my weekly earning goals and I'm miserable. End of rant. Thanks for listening.

    Cats and popsicles

My mom's diabetic so I usually notice when there's a sugar-free product. Chocolate pudding pops have been sugar-free for a while. They're not bad. I've seen dogs eating popsicles before-don't know if the vet said it was okay or not.

    Anti-inflammatories

I had forgotten that if I take an anti-inflammatory for too many days in a row it starts interacting badly with my other meds and I'm awake all night. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Do you worry about wireless?

I worry about it for the teenagers who are growing up with them (and who have them growing out of the side of their head permanently!). I didn't get a cell phone until after I was 40 so I'm not worried about cumulative effects.

If you had to pick one food...

The only type of fish I like is Mrs. Paul's with catsup and mac and cheese on the side so I take fish oil pills. If you get them make sure to get the ones with the extra coating because burping fish oil is horrible. I need more fruits in my diet.

    Cats and popsicles

I know dogs are given popsicles all the time but I was wondering about cats. I have a squishy ice pack with blue gel inside that my cat loves to lick. I don't give it to her for that but she usually gets a few licks in when I get it out for my shoulder or back. What about sugar free popsicles...

    Fish Oil

I know there's some studies going on now as to whether it cuts down on hot flashes associated with menopause but I hadn't heard it's good for arthritis also.

    Target automatic doors

I get nauseous every time I move my head but most of the aches and pains are gone. Since I'm only 92 lbs. I probably got some sort of whiplash. It's just going to take some time. Thank you for you concern.

    Which type is better?

Since no one really needs vitamins to be fast-acting and absorbed in the bloodstream immediately I would say that chewable or pill form is better unless you are suffering from ongoing nausea from chemo or something like that.

    Target automatic doors

I was not wearing a raspberry beret and went out through the in door. (Prince reference) They were the folded handicapped doors. That's why I worry about kids doing the same thing.

    Nail question

I don't have a dishwasher so gloves help me make the water hotter. I just leave a pair by the sink. Of course I live alone and rinse them off immediately after use and only wash every couple days. (I eat a lot of leftovers!)

    Meditation Definitions

Yes. True meditation requires emptying the mind of all thought but it has now changed to include thinking specifically about a problem in order to come to a conclusion.
