I don't have kids but I do want the best for my nieces and nephews. Is there an appropriate way to tell my sister that her son is really getting out of control? She works a lot and he's her baby (11yrs old) and she just doesn't see it. Moms out there-would you want to know?
Absolutely! When I was raised, the neighbors loved you and told on you if you did something wrong if they didn't punish you for it themselves. It kept us honest and I wish we could still do that now.
I would want to know too. That doesn't mean I would like hearing it but being a parent is not all about sunshine and lolly pops, you have to get real to do well by your kids.
