Sick of it yet?

Really? I don't know many people that would want to talk to people who come to the door like that. I'm glad you had great success with it. I wouldn't even take a job like that because I would expect it to be worse.
It really depended on the neighborhood. Most people were friendly even when they told us to go away or told a lie to make us good away.:D The stupidest thing I did was to knock on a crack house. I didn't realize it was a crack house until I started knocking. Then it dawned on me and I almost ran backwards getting away!

The best experience was a senior couple invited us in and offered use ice cold water and dinner. They were members of the opposing party, but we had a great and respectful conversation.

My brother did that job a few years ago. He said responses ran the gamut from people being open and willing to talk, to people threatening him with guns.
Wow! I didn't get threatened with guns:eek: But a lot of homeowner had big and loud dogs! Nevada is a right to carry state too. It's also a bit of the wild west vibe.

The gun part sounds about right. Honestly this source of job is one I would not advise out in the boondocks or in the more uh... dangerous neighborhoods. Might not see a body again depending on the area.

All of the talk on TV about who did what and who's the best is being to confuse me. I get the mail looking for money but no phone calls, at least not yet.

I've gotten three phone calls just this morning. I think I'm on some lists from my workplace as well as the voting lists. To think it's just getting started makes me cringe.

I haven't gotten any calls, but then again, I don't answer my cell phone if I don't recognize the number. And I haven't had a land line in years. The tv commercials haven't been too bad...yet! But I'm sure in another month or two I'll be totally done with all this.

YES! I am so sick of it. In fact, I am so sick of it that I am literally not paying attention to any of it, anymore. I can't even stand the thought.

Esperahol, you said it. The simpliest of tasks, meet the Prime Minister, congratulate him on the Olympics and move on. What a goof ball. Cheers.

And instead - meet Prime Minister, insult him on Olympics, and then smile like a special ed puppy... It's like getting Sarah Palin for president or something.

Now that one was just cruel. A little mockery is all well and good, but the Sarah Palin comparison? Low blow there, low blow.

Don't forgot Romney's praise of Israel's Universal Health Care system. Everyone is required to pay into the system. I'm not even sure if he knew it was a mandated health care system. The idea of a Romney presidency terrifies me.

No, this is one man who makes me want to forgive George W. Bush for all his shortcomings and that is very hard to do. At least W filed his taxes and kept his money in America , as far as we know.

Come on! Compare the pictures! Little special ed puppy smiles everywhere! Also they're... well there is a reason you take a child to the doctor if it hits it's little head a little too hard.

Yeah, well at least he makes Bush seem just a little smarter or more human or just better. Yeah I mean I hated Bush as president and the wounds dealt this country are still weeping blood, but as a person... I really do prefer Bush to Romney. I mean I just can't see Romney trying to provide he really does like black people, by going over to Africa and building crap (however ineptly) with his own two hands (those of his wife). The only thing I can appreciate about Romney is the dedication he has for his wife.

From an across the border perspective, the scary part is with the amount of socialist or "he did nothing" hate Obama's getting, Romney actually seems to have a chance at being elected. I'm hardly a fan of our political system either, but your two party one just makes me cringe every other election.

Ron Paul 2012!
