Vitex

I have been breastfeeding my daughter for 12 months and my menstrual cycle has still not returned, with my older children I started back around 8-9 months.

I would really like to TTC again before too long but I don`t want to wean my daughter, has anyone taken Vitex or something similar to help regulate their cycles?

My best form of advice is to consult your physician. Just because you started your cycle again within a few months with your other children doesn't mean it would be that way this time. The body can change over time. Talking to your doctor about your concerns will give you their input on what you should do, be able to let them rule out the possibility that something else is wrong, and tell you whether or not taking something such a Vitex is recommended at this time.
