Very quiet New Years Eve

I know a lot like to go out and party on New Year's Eve but we don't. We stayed home and had a quiet night, well, except for the neighbors shooting off fireworks! We did watch some of them from the comfort of our home.

Our neighborhood had a quiet New Year's Eve. As for our family, we just stayed home although some of our relatives came in the evening and spent few hours with us. We had dinner and watched a recording of the 2012 Miss Universe pageant.

I've had a quiet New Year's Eve with my closest friends for the past several years (and sometimes their toddlers, too) but this year I needed a change and went out to party. I like it both ways, sometimes you need to go wild and sometimes you need to have a quiet evening of conversation and watch a movie in good company
