Uva Ursi and UTIs??

I read that Uva Ursi helps to prevent and cure Urinary Tract Infections/Bladder Infections. Does anyone have experience with this firsthand?

I have not ever heard of Uva Ursi. I just make sure and drink plenty of cranberry juice since I love it anyway! Also drinking plenty of water to keep your body from getting dehydrated. Dehydration is what leads to kidney stones as well.
