Talking is important

I don't know why people don't realize this but talking is so important to your mental health. They keep things all bottled up inside and don't try to get to the root of the problem. If you would just talk it out with someone whether it is a friend, family member or counselor it makes life so much easier.

I think sometimes people keep it all in because they don't feel like anyone is listening to them or understanding them. "They" say that if a woman stops talking --- a man should get worried. I can tell you for certain that this is true.

I used to be one of this type of people. I kept things to myself because I didn't want to involve anyone in my problems. I thought that since it's my own concern, I should deal with it by myself.

This is so true! Talking about things also helps because the other person might be able to help you sort through it. I have a couple of great friends and we always talk about everything!
