Selling herbal preparations

Have you ever thought about selling any of your herbal preparations? I love making salves and other preparations. I had a ball making all the spa items a few months ago for the spa basket for my niece. I have been musing about whether that could be a very small thing I might do on the side just for a few extra bucks.

If it's anything medicinal, get yourself a lawyer and really know the laws. It's a very, very involved and complicated process, depending on state and local regulations.

I thought herbs didn't come under the same recommendations as medicines? I was thinking along the lines of, say, the oatmeal herbal facial scrub or the honey cinnamon facial mask.
