Prescription or OTC?

I've been taking OTC for hormone replacement for several years now. For the last couple of years it has been New Phase, which seemed to work fine. It doesn't seem to be working as good as it was now though. Can you body actually adjust to things like this and would prescription work better? I'm trying to stay away from that if I can.

I don't understand why you are hesitant for prescription hormone therapy when you are ok with getting it over the counter. Is it just a matter of convenience, or are prescription hormones stronger?

I think your body can become immune to medications. I bet that is all that is happening with your body. You could switch to the prescription med and see if it helps. I've had to have a couple of my prescriptions changed because my body got used to them.
