Keeping Your Rat's Teeth At Safe Length

I know that most rats keep their own teeth ground down fairly well and you only have to cut them every once in a rare while, but I'm worried about my rat. I give her things to chew on and she rarely chews on them. Just little bites here and there. Her teeth are still healthy after all this time but I'm still worried. How does she keep them short? Is she grinding her teeth?

She may be grinding her teeth, but she may also be finding something else to chew on. I know this is not a major concern, but if the teeth are staying short then you probably do not have anything to worry about.

What else could she be chewing on? Nothing is showing very many signs of chewing. When I let her out she's always being watched by me so I know if she chews on something outside of her cage or not.
