Herb Book

I just picked up the best herb book yesterday at a thrift store. It lists so many herbs, has pictures, tells what they are used for and even gives recipes for using herbs in cooking. It's amazing what you can find in thrift stores. This was a real jewel for me.

Good for you! As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. I agree that you can find good stuff in thrift stores. There is a thrift store in our area that is quite big, and whenever I have a chance to visit it, I go straight to the book section. Sometimes they do have an amazing collection.

Books like that never grow old do they? The many uses for herbs never change over time. It's just interesting to see something that you long ago forgot, or never knew in the first place.
