Cholesterol - Any Natural Remedy?

Is there any natural or herbal remedy for getting rid of cholesterol? I understand that there are many natural remedies but I am not aware of them. Will some one throw light on these natural or herbal remedies for curing cholesterol? Thanks for your time.

Its a change in every part of your life. No magic herb. No cures. Exercise, healthy diet, herbs if you choose, and other issues to be addressed.

Also to take into consideration, genetically we are different. For example, I have inherited a funny gene that causes my good cholesterol (HDL) to be incredibly high. Others inherit a gene that causes bad cholesterol (LDL) to escalate and need controlled. So genetics also plays a role side by side with lifestyle and environmental factors.
