I've never seen soap with actual herbs or lavender in it. I can imagine I would like it. I will have to be on the lookout for it and remember that if I make some.
I do not have one, but my stepmom does and makes wonderful jerky in it. My favorite is her turkey jerky. She also dries apples and hot peppers to make pepper flakes.
Who has had one? Is it true that they put the stones between your toes? I love a good pedicure, but I'm not sure I could handle stones between my toes.
I learn so much from this board. Thanks for posting this. My mother in law drinks hot tea every time she is here. I will start saving them. May work better than my frozen bag of peas I usually use.
What is the difference in a N.D. and a DO? We have a friend who is a DO and he seems to believe more in natural remedies. I do know that he is allowed to order tests and x-rays though.
I have never heard of using olive oil to remove makeup. How does it smell? It just seems like it would smell weird on your face. Do you use another cleanser after using the olive oil? Does it cause acne?
Very interesting!! I don't drink soda much either, but one of my doctors told me to cut back soda when my blood pressure was high at an appointment. My grandmother has high blood pressure and drinks a lot of soda.
Has anyone ever heard of this? I have heard someone mention having acupuncture for sinus issues, but didn't hear anything back from her after having it completed.
I agree. I don't really even pay attention to the celebrity news at all. There is so much more to be concerned with than who has gone into rehab for what.
That's a great question. My cat is an indoor cat right now because we just got her, but with my previous cat, I just assumed she was protected because of the vaccinations we got her. I guess the main one would be rabies, right? And they have that vax.
I've never heard of that plant before. I have had kidney stones in the past, so I am always keeping my eyes and ears open for natural remedies. Thanks for posting, I will have to research it.
My stepmom bought bread from the bread store all the time growing up. I know we have one close to my house, I just need to find out what time it is open. I usually buy the more expensive bread because I buy the high fiber bread because my youngest child doesn't eat enough fiber.
I would be interested in seeing research that shows it highly addictive. I didn't take it for a long period of time, but would like to see research in case I need it in the future.
After hearing how good it is for me, I have been trying to eat some every day. How do you add it to your diet? And, do you use ground, whole, or flour? So far, I've only used ground and added it to pancakes, smooties, and yogurt.
I have used it and I think it does help. It took a few days for me to reallly tell a difference, but it did help. I was going to sleep fine, but waking up early in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep.
I've never used aloe for my face, but might have to give that a try. I currently use some extremely greasy face moisturizer because my face has been really dry this winter.
