Taking Melatonin For a Good Night's Rest

Sometimes I have trouble getting to sleep at night. Recently I have been taking one Melatonin tablet and I drift off to sleep within just a few minutes. Since this is very inexpensive and works so well, I cannot imagine why people pay more for brand name sleeping aids. Have any of you used Melatonin to go to sleep more easily?

I never have taken Melatonin. I had a friend who swore by it. Him and his wife both suffered from insomnia until they started taking it. They no longer have that problem.

If you don't mind me asking, how much does it cost?
