Rootbeer Extract?

I have a recipe for homemade rootbeer, but cannot find rootbeer extract anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find this item at? If so what kind of price can I expect to pay. Thanks a ton for the feedback and help!

Your best bet may be any local home brewing stores in your area. amazon sells it, Cook's Root Beer Extract 8 oz: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food not sure how the price is compared to elsewhere. This place has it cheaper 816692 - Zatarains Root Beer Extract but never used them. I've ordered from midwest before, but they seem to sell the whole kit root beer soda extract, homebrew

I was thinking you may be able to find it at a local health food store. I am thinking the Zatarains, mentioned in the post above, might be really good. I love their rice mixes!

I bought mine from Watkins several years ago. I hadn't used much of it, and had it in the pantry for years. A few weeks ago I knocked it off the shelf and the lid broke. I couldn't believe how strong it still was - my house smelled like root beer for several days.
