So we had our first freeze here in Florida. A friend who works nights says it was 22 on his way home at 7am. The garden sprinkler system pipe burst open, and did not see it until around 10am. Lost all my warm crop (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, etc..) but the cool weather crop is still ok I think. The carrots got the brunt of the water from the broken pipe.
Lost some herbs too. Sage is the only one still growing.
Guess I can start planning and preparing for the warmer weather though.
