Minced garlic in the jars

How long does minced garlic stay good in the refrigerator? I use it in everything, just about, so I was thinking of buying a really large restaurant-type jar. I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm sure it's a few months' worth. Is that too long?

No, that would be fine. We used to buy minced garlic in jars and it was always good for at least a few months. It probably is fine longer but I don't know since we always ate it pretty quickly.

Oh, yeah it will be fine as long as you keep it in the fridge. We had a little jar that got pushed back in the fridge and forgotten and it was still fine after six months!
