Herbal or natural remedy for nail fungus?

I think I've developed nail fungus. I am getting vertical ridges along most of my nails and the nails are thickened and hard to cut. Is there a natural solution for this?

I have had the ridges before but nothing else. Mine came from using fake nails many years ago and I still have them. They do not really change my nails like you have described, is there anything else you could think of that might have caused this?

If there is a natural remedy for nail fungus, I hope someone will post here. I contracted one several years ago at a nail salon and haven't been able to fully get rid of it. I don't go to that salon anymore, needless to say, but my big toenail is like yours aunaturel. Thick and hard to cut and it appears that it's not attached to my skin about half way down. I know, this sounds ugly. Anyone out there with a natural remedy?
