Blood in stool

I am worried about my son. He told me that he had blood in his stool three days ago.There is no pain whatsoever. Would a cleansing diet help?

It would be better if you have his stool examined first before you do anything else. It could be a sign of something that would not be cured by a cleansing diet.

I agree, it would probably be best to get that examined. It may be a sign of some internal problems. I noticed that this was originally posted a month ago...I hope your son is okay!

I agree with the other posters. He really needs to be seen by a doctor. It could be as simple as a hemorrhoid. Better to be safe and check it out.
