    I don't think that any of you would consider watching horror movies a healthy habit. I am not a big fan of horror movies (and books) myself. But a friend of mine believes that watching horror movies is another cardio workout. :rolleyes::D

    Diaphragmatic or abdominal breathing is done by expanding your abdomen rather than your chest. It's known to be a healthier and fuller way of ingesting oxygen. I learned it in a yoga class I have ever attended. Do you practice it?

    Lemon water in the morning

    Lemon water is very beneficial for your body. It helps you flush out toxins in your system. I usually drink lemon water early in the morning before I take any other food. Just one thing, don't forget to add little salt in the lemon water before you drink it.

    Cabbages?

    The wife who has low blood pressure stops eating cabbages because she was told (or reads somewhere) that taking them lowers our blood pressure. Is that true? Does it mean that cabbages are good for those who are suffering from high blood pressure?

    Curing yourself

    I know it is easier to just see your doctor, take the medicines he prescribes and do whatever he suggests when you got some health problems. But it's healthier and in most cases cheaper to cure yourself using herbs, yogic treatment or other natural remedies. What do you think?

    I read a thread here talking about being 30, and it reminds me of the old adage, "Life begins at 40". Is that true? I am not 40 yet so I need to be ready when I reach the age.
