    Couch to 5K Running Program

Here is the webpage for it: Cool Running | The Couch-to-5K ® Running Plan Let me know if it helps you. Like I said, it's a pretty relaxed program and will ease you into running. I really do recommend it to anyone that wants to start running. :)

    Cat straches

Are you talking about cat scratch fever? I've had cats most of my life, too. They've scratched me all over the place. Fortunately, I've never caught anything either.

    Bread Machine Recipes

I got a bread machine today. I am so excited about using it. I love baking bread in the oven, so I thought this would be a fun addition to the kitchen. I just love the smell of bread! (Can you tell I'm excited? LOL) I will be doing a lot of experimenting with it. Any favorite bread machine...

    Urinary Tract Infection

Are there any natural remedies for urinary tract infections besides cranberry? I've used cranberry pills, cranberry juice, and have had glasses and glasses of water. Are there other methods to get rid of the unpleasantness of it all?

    Mid afternoon slump

That's when I hit the slump! I usually have a snack bar around that time. Coffee doesn't seem to help me anymore, but I've been drinking less and less of it. Soda still gives me a little kick, though. :)

    Decoctions

I had to look it up. I had no idea what 'decoction' meant. It seems to be the process of boiling parts of the plants (for example, the root) and using it for your mixture. I've made ginger tea before, is that like decoction?

    Aloe Vera

When I was growing up, I remember that my mother had aloe vera plants. Whenever I had a sunburn, she would break off one of the stalks and rub it on my skin. What other uses are there for aloe vera plants?

    Soak Your Veggies

I usually rinse my vegetables in water. I never heard about using vinegar. I've never liked the smell of it, so I wonder how much it really affects the taste. I'll have to give it a shot.

    Couch to 5K Running Program

Hey, I used this program too! There are a couple of websites about it. I was pretty skeptical about it at first. It sounds like a really lazy program. LOL But it helps you ease into running.

    Peppermint Foot Bath

I have really sensitive feet, they seem to get sore easily. I found a peppermint foot bath to be really great for for muscle relaxation. I also love the smell of peppermint! http://www.life123.com/health/natural-remedies/herbs/how-to-ease-sore-tired-feet-with-a-home-made-peppe.shtml

    herbs for your hair

Hi, Richard. Thank you for sharing this! My hair is a bit dull right now. I have dark brown hair, so I will try out the rosemary and parsley. I decided to do a little more research and found another link about herbs for hair: Hairloss Herbs

    Lemon water in the morning

Wow, I didn't know about this! I'm learning a lot from these forums. :) How much lemon do you mix with the water? Do you use half lemon juice and half water? I may try this today...I happen to have some lemons on hand!

    Bitter Melon Can Treat Diabetes

I'll have to try that Dreyfush. I never thought about doing that. My family always boiled it, but I don't recall them adding seasonings or anything. Maybe a little salt is all it needs!

    An Onion

That's funny that you asked--I was wondering the same thing earlier. I have the same question about garlic, which is also part of the onion family.

    Make your own peanut butter

I found this article a while back during the salmonella scare with peanut butter. It's a great source of protein and it has a delicious taste! :) This is a cool article about how to make your own. If I can make any food by myself, I always try to do it. Scared of Salmonella? Make Your Own...
