Which Herbs Need More And Less Water?

The drought that we're in always has me thinking about what will be the first to go when we have to start conserving our water. So I'm curious, which herbs need more water to grow and which herbs can get by on less? What would be the extremes at each end of the scale?

Mint has an ability to grow in wet conditions. Basil on the other hand likes good drainage and watered at the hottest part of the day. It dislikes wet feet.

And would you say that mint and basil are the herbs that represent the extreme ends of the scale? What I mean is; is mint the most tolerant of wet conditions and is basil the most tolerant of dry conditions? Or are there more extreme ones than those?
