I know many people make soap from animals milk. This got me to thinking, what makes the best soap? The main one I see is goats milk, but does the other milk work just as well?
I agree with konstantina, if you wanted to use milk; I suggest you use milk goat. First, it is inexpensive. Second it has more affinity to other soap ingredients and lastly, goat's milk contains generous amount of lactic acid which is very good in keeping unwanted bacteria in our body and aids in skin's exfoliation. If you want to make a milky soap, you should use any milk that is full fat and has alot of butter, ir add extra milk butter. It is more difficult to make however. Goat milk is good because it is soft to the skin. So it all depends on the kind of soap you want to produce. I make a soap with goat milk and lavender oil and I really like it.
I also discovered this recently! Very handy, that's for sureI happily discovered something about goat's milk a while back. It can be purchased in a can! I always thought I had to track down a goat farmer to get the milk. Although this would be best, canned is good if no farmer is available.
