I just read that seaweed is great for body detox. It helps the body get rid of harmful chemicals such as lead, strontium, and cadmium. To include more seaweed in your diet, you might want to take some dried seaweed, and use it in your smoothies.

If I'm not mistaken, some Asian restaurants include seaweed in their soups and other recipes. You could make dishes at home that include seaweed. Here's one called Seaweed Deluxe that sounds pretty good.

My favorite way to eat seaweed is sushi. There are several different recipes for seaweed sushi, but the one I like best is made with shrimp. To me that's the best the ocean has to offer!

You're right, rayne. Some Asian soup recipes have seaweed in them. I tasted one before, which was prepared by a friend from Korea. It was a simple seaweed soup recipe, but it was tasty.

I have eaten kelp chips and they aren't half bad. I do love sushi and it is frequently wrapped in seaweed. I wouldn't just eat it alone though.
