Raisins and blood pressure

According to the American College of Cardiology, eating a handful of raisins each day can help lower blood pressure in adults. This is good news for those with hypertension. Raisins are also rich in potassium and a good source of antioxidant dietary fiber.

I'll have to remember this if I ever develop high blood pressure. I think it is much better for you if you can use natural ways like this to help keep you healthy.

I have low blood pressure but the hubby has hypertension so maybe I should start buying him raisins. I don't know if he would eat them though. I wonder if you get the same benefits from grapes because he loves those.

I have low blood pressure but I like raisins anyway, so I will eat them. I'll have to pass this tidbit on to my husband and see if he is interested.
