Bunny Losing Hair

My young cousin's bunny is losing hair under its mouth down to its dewlap. It looks like there are already bald spots on the area. We wonder whether this is just shedding or already a skin problem.

I don't know much about bunnies but it sounds like a skin problem. I think there is a difference between shedding and bald spots. You might want to do some research online or give your Vet a call.

I wouldn't think it would be something that happens normally. I think I would talk to the vet who is used to treating rabbits. It may be something due to stress too. Rabbits are notorious for having issues due to stress, this may be an indication of that.
