We have a new kitten and it seems that she really loves our Christmas tree! She keeps climbing up it and finding a place to sleep. :) So far she hasn't messed it up and we hope it stays that way as I don't think we can stop her from doing it.

At what age do you start getting a bone density test and how often should they be done? I am getting up in age and think it is probably time so will ask my doctor when I go for my checkup.

December is here so I guess it is parade time. :) We are having our small town parade this coming weekend. There is also a bigger one in another town about an hour away that we always go to. How many do you usually watch or do you go to any at all?

We have always had cats and also love to fish. We are always giving the cats some of the fish as they are cleaned. I also feed some feral cats. I've noticed over time that there are some that don't seem to like to eat fresh fish. Do you have a cat like this?

Do you try to get the vitamins you need naturally, by eating right or do you take a lot of supplements? Also, are supplements just as good as getting them from the foods you eat?

I wish it would make up it's mind what it wants to do. It was raining this morning early, then stopped and the sun came out. Next thing you know, the sun is gone and it's raining again. I think it has done this at least three different times today!

So far we have only had a few really freezing days. I think it is suppose to get cold for a day or two later this week, but warm back up again. Compared to the last two winters this is nothing. I'm hoping we will end up with a mild winter this year. How is your winter going so far?

That is one of the things that I hate about winter time. Our dog needs a bath right now and it's to cold to give him one outside. He's a big dog and sheds really bad so can't do it in the bathtub. Do any of those Dry Shampoo products work? I'm never tried them but now might be a good time.

I would really like to make sure I'm getting most of the vitamins that I need but really don't like to take a whole bunch of pills. Is it just as good to take one multi vitamin and get the recommended amount that you need or to take a lot of different ones? It can really be confusing sometimes!

First off a big Happy New Year to everyone. And, do you like to go to parties on that night or do you perfer to stay home? We are not much for parties (or staying up late for that matter) so like to stay home. We do try to stay up until midnight if we can. :)

Our temperature is suppose to be up into the middle 80's today. I do realize that we live in Florida but the weather has been a bit crazy. I'm not complaining mind you, it's much better then freezing snow. It's just the usually around Christmas time I don't mind if it gets a bit cold.

Does anyone here like to collect baskets? I've been doing this for a long time now and have managed to collect some really unique ones over the years. I'm trying to slow down some now because it is getting hard to figure out what to do with them all!

Well looks like we have another cat that has found us. More then likely with the help of someone dropping her off. It looks like she is going to be having a litter pretty soon and also looks very young. I just so hate it when someone does this.

I have always fed my cats a mixture of dry and wet food and it has always seemed ok for them. But, lately my one cat that stays inside all the time (and is a bit spoiled) seems to throw up when I give her dry mixed in with her wet food? I stopped giving it to her and she stopped throwing up...

Do any of you ever get these? If I stretch my legs out with my toes pointed down I will usually end up with one of my calf muscles cramping really bad. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, ouch! Is there a natural herb you can take for something like this?
