I do believe some people can be classified as obese and yet be healthy, especially when the criteria is the BMI chart, which has major issues. However, most people with extra weight are at greater risk for disease.
I've been doing yoga regularly for about a year, although I have practiced off and on for a few years. I just keep going and hope that I can get into a more meditative state later.
I've heard they can be quite useful. I'm not sure how comfortable they are, especially in hot weather, but if your veins already pain you, then perhaps the stockings are more comfortable than going without them.
I had a deep tissue massage once and it was nice, but I prefer hot stone massages. I find those much more soothing!
I wish my husband was good at massages but he's not. He'll scratch my back whenever I ask though. :)
Have you ever had red raspberry leaf tea? It's supposed to be very good for women's health and fertility in both genders. I just started drinking it and it's quite good; it tastes a lot like green tea to me.
Well that is true, but what about the phytoestrogenic effect of soy? Isn't that a concern? I don't know too much about it but it makes me a little wary.
This is very true. Additionally, most kids refer to losing their virginity as engaging in intercourse, but before then will experiment with other types of sex, such as oral, that could still result in STD transmission.
I'd heard that about Q-Tips too (although I still use them). Apparently the primary dangers are pushing too far in with the Q-Tip and inadvertently compacting the wax in the ear canal instead of removing it.
Last night I was not into yoga at all and could hardly wait for the class to end. I hate when that happens; yoga is much more satisfying when I am feeling the meditation within the poses.
I'm not a huge fan of (store bought) jar candles, actually. They often have wicks that are too small, so you end up with a channel down the middle and the melting wax puts the flame out.
Yes, that doesn't sound like you are addicted at all. :p As I said, I must have the TV on, but I don't actually watch much of it. It's just good background noise as I go about my day. I actually watch it more in the evenings.
Lack of sleep and diet are both common culprits, as is aging. Try to get more sleep, drink lots of water, and eat foods high in vitamin K and low in sodium.
I stand while eating at a party that serves hors d'oeuvres; doesn't everyone? If there is anything that I cannot easily eat with one hand, though, I look for a chair.
Do you try to limit screen time (TV, computer, etc) for yourself or your family? Has it helped you in any way?
I, unfortunately, am an addict and am constantly on my computer or have the TV on.
Our 3rd anniversary is coming up next month. Three years really isn't that long, I suppose, but it flew by so quickly that it seems even shorter than it is.
