    Herbs that promote energy?

Couple things. First, been drinking a tea of catnip + valerian root lately...great sleepy buzz it provides, & real quickly! Second, anyone know much about maca root?

    Honey In The Tea

Oops, misconception here...2-4 _drops_ is equivalent to 1 tsp of sugar! Pls check your facts first. ;)

    Fear of needles

Sorry to contradict, but they do so hurt. I'm not at all queasy about needles, but I did acupuncture for years for chronic pain, and it hurt every time. Works for many, but not for me.

    Do you yoga?

What?? I'm a bit concerned about what sound like judgments that are not grounded in fact. Yoga is not a religion, nor does one need to "buy into" anything just to practice it. Brings to mind an expression about glass houses and throwing rocks, I'm sorry to say. Ever think what some other people...

    Pain bar

I can't remember the source but I've read that simply putting a bar of plain ivory soap underneath the bottom sheet will greatly reduce leg pain. I've seen that several times! Also supposed to help restless leg syndrome. No clue what might be going on here!

Shelter forced to destroy deer meat

Don't know about elsewhere, but here in WI many of our deer have been diagnosed with "chronic wasting disease." It's a brain disease similar to mad cow disease, so deer harvested in particular regions must be destroyed, just like cattle with the disease (mainly in Great Britain, most recently)...

Antioxidants - Do They Really Work?

'Tis true. I think it is very important to realize that research doesn't actually "prove" things, but instead sets out to rule out what is NOT true. So an appropriate experiment would be to give subjects a supplement to prove it has no effect on them. If it did have an effect, that simply opens...

    What is lemongrass?

It's used a lot in Thai food recipes. My understanding is that you use only the tip, much like a green onion. Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk HD

    Honey In The Tea

Since I can't have sugar in my diet, I've become a big fan of Stevia. I've never liked chamomile tea, but I love it with Stevia in it. Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk HD
