    Curbing Sugar Cravings

This is what I was going to say. If you eat dark chocolate it actually is suppose to help lower blood pressure and can fight depression too. Moderation, of course, is the key!

    Craving tomatoes

I'm glad I am not the only one that craves them. I get kind of sick of them in the summer when we grow them, but I always want a nice fresh one in the winter for some reason.

    Daylight Saving Time

I absolutely hate it. I have felt like the walking dead for the last few morning when I get up. It usually takes me a couple of weeks to adjust. I am looking forward to getting that hour of sleep back in the fall.

    Ginger and Menstrual Cramps

I didn't know that ginger would do that either. I do know that it will help with migraines if you take some right when the headache first starts to occur.

    Talking is important

I think sometimes people keep it all in because they don't feel like anyone is listening to them or understanding them. "They" say that if a woman stops talking --- a man should get worried. I can tell you for certain that this is true.

    Craving tomatoes

I have been craving tomatoes for about two or three weeks now. This means we have a lot of spaghetti and other dishes that have tomatoes in them. Does anyone else ever get like this? I was wondering if this means I need more Vitamin C or something?

    Breaks Without Vacation

I've been thinking of taking mental health day, but have too much work at the moment to take one. If you can't do anything else --- have the father of the children watch them for a couple of hours. Leave the house and go for a drive or go get a manicure.

    Multivitamin?

I have started taking B-Complex and Magnesium. I was wondering if I should also take a multivitamin to balance everything out or would I then get too much vitamin B?

    Self defense

Yes, that is why I own a gun. Ha! Seriously, I do know self defense. I took a couple of classes and feel like I could put up a pretty good fight if I needed too.

    When to start herbs?

I think I will look for some seeds this weekend. We are having crazy weather here, so I have no clue when our last frost will be. I think I will start them indoors and move them outside when I am sure the weather will stay warm.

    Chiropractor

I have not been to one, but it has been recommended that I try one for migraine relief. I know they put you on a table and make "adjustments" by stretching and pulling on different parts of your body. Beyond that --- I have no clue.

    Pets and Tomato Products

I know they are bad for horses. I did have a dog throw up one time when I gave her some tomato sauce. I just didn't think anything about it and she wanted it, so I let her have some. I won't make that mistake again.

    When to start herbs?

I normally buy young plants or grow herbs from cuttings. I was thinking of trying some from seed this year, but I'm not sure when to plant them. Is it too early?

    Dizzy When Tired?

Yes. I call it a "donk-donk" feeling (think of the noise from Law & Order SVU). I will turn quickly and feel a bit off balance for a few seconds. It is your body's way of telling you that something is not right.

    Eating Too Fast?

You can slow down the food gulping by separating the food out on a plate (cut it up or spoon it out). If it is dry food --- try using a larger bowl and putting the food down in one layer so the cat has to work for it.

    Barometric Pressure Headache

I started taking magnesium yesterday after reading that it can help "short out" the receptors in the brain that are sensitive to the barometric pressure. Okay, it doesn't actually short them out (I can't remember exactly what it said), but it is suppose to help. We will see.

    Barometric Pressure Headache

Does anyone else get headaches from changes in the barometric pressure? This is the second one I have had in two weeks. This time it is also making me somewhat nauseated. I was wondering how others deal with them.

    Vitamin B Complex

I read a blog post the other day about a woman who was constantly tired. Her doctor told her to try taking Vitamin B. He even gave her a shot to get her started. She is feeling much better now. I bought some Vitamin B Complex yesterday. Has anyone taken any of this before and did it seem to help...

    Severe dry sensitive skin

Does anyone know of a home remedy for severe dry sensitive skin? Every winter my hands get really dry. If I use hand lotion it seems like I always have a reaction to it, so I would like to find a natural way to treat them.

    Too Much Scent

Yes, I have the exact same problem with my sister-in-law. She bathes herself in perfume and it isn't even a pleasant scent. The smell has actually triggered a migraine a couple of times. My husband doesn't want me to say anything, but one day I may have to.
