    Easy, healthy snacks

I always have fresh fruit and cut up veggies in single serve portions so the kids can just grab whichever one they want. I bet my kids would like your popsicle idea though. Thanks for the tips!

    Baking

I love to bake and have used the applesauce in place of oil, but I never knew about the bananas in place of eggs. Also, using the sweeteners instead of the sugar, does it change the taste of the baked goods, making it sweeter or anything? I know you obviously use a lot less sweetener than you...

    bath crystals

We make simple bath salts in school, usually for mother's day. You just need epsom salt, fragrance (skin-safe fragrance oils, essential oils, or we have even just used perfume sometimes) and if you want different colors, a little bit of food coloring. Pour the epsom salt into a bowl, add a...

    Nutella Lawsuit

The sugary cereals are not outright claiming to be a healthy breakfast option like Nutella apparently was. Although I don't much care if they say it is healthy or not, all companies are out to make money, I still read the labels and decide for myself.

    Liquid or Solid?

I buy solid soap but make liquid soap out of it. Not only does it last longer, but the kids can just squirt the soap instead of messing with a slippery bar of soap.

    Fresh baked goods

I use the grill all the time in the summer because the house gets so hot when the oven is on, but I would never have thought about doing baked goods that way. We do a lot of the no bake cookies and deserts but I think we are going to try the cinnamon rolls this weekend. Thanks for the great idea!

    Candles from Crayons

Oh yes, we have tons of crayons that I can go through lol.

    Fake Nails?

I can't get my nails to grow for anything so I get them done, only I don't get the actual nail tips. I just get an acrylic overlay, basically the same thing they would use for the fake nails, but without gluing the actual nail tip on. My nails aren't any worse than they were before I started...

    Sunburn relief

You can use noxema if you have that. Just spread it on, don't rub it in. It cools and pulls out the heat. Or put white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it on the sunburned area every 4 hours or so. You can also take aspirin or acetaminophen for the pain.

    Body pain for the obese?

I agree. It is most likely a circulation problem due to your weight. I would talk to your doctor.

    Awful Bugs!

I got creeped out just looking at that thing. I agree with you, anything that jumps at me...uh uh....that thing is just icky looking.

    Candles from Crayons

Hmm...we have melted crayons down for art projects before but I have never thought of making candles out of them. This sounds like it would be a fun activity, I am going to look into that.

    Bitterness/Anger Cause Disease

I don't like holding things in and staying angry at people. I can feel the change in myself when I am mad or upset with someone or something that is going on in my life. It isn't good mentally or physically to hold things inside.

    Open flame paranoia

I make sure any candles I have are not near anything that could possibly catch fire, and I never put them where my kids can get to them or knock them over. It is just making sure the basic safety rules are followed.

    Awful Bugs!

I don't like insects at all for the most part so those big, flying buzzy ones drive me insane. One of those flying beetles got stuck in my hair once and I thought I was never going to get it out.
