    Vitamins natural or supplements?

Getting vitamins from the foods you eat is the best way to get them, but you never know if they have been grown in soil where nutrients have been depleted, unless you buy organic foods from trusted sources. The second best way to get vitamins is to take a whole foods vitamin supplement. They...

    How did your interest start?

I read a lot. The more I read, the more convinced I became that herbal remedies are much, much better and safer than pharma drugs. People around me think I'm crazy for not going to doctors (not that I never go to doctors).

Brands, does it make a difference?

I almost always read the labels of name brands and their generic "equals." They are almost always the same, but the price difference saves me a lot of money. Taking time to read labels is definitely worth it. I also check out any added ingredients that might make a difference in the quality.

    Coconut Oil

I've read many reports that coconut oil is better for you than other oils. Does anyone know what makes it so much better than other oils? I want to try it, but it seems to be expensive. I want to be sure it's worth the cost.

Children of Fukushima Experience Thyroid Issues

I've read that, too. I think the disaster at the nuclear plant is much worse than the public is being told. It is really not surprising, though. From what I've read, even people in the United States should be prepared to take precautions against radioactivity that might reach them.

    Walking

I haven't been walking much, but I do exercise on an exercise bike regularly. Still, I think walking is something I should start doing more. What is a good distance to walk?

    Hi Everybody

That's great, brighteyes. I'm trying to eat more organic foods and have stopped eating very much meat. I think organic foods are much healthier for us than other foods.

    Arthritis

That's what I read, and I also read an infection can trigger it. Some believe the immune system is not attacking for no reason and that there is actually an invader of some kind. I haven't read much about that, but I will.

    Articles On This Site

Thank you for reminding us about the articles! I used to read them, but I got away from it. They're very good articles, so I'll make it a point to read them. I think there is a lot we can learn from them.

    Herbal Tooth Powder

Great article! I switched to non-fluoridated toothpaste a while back, but the herbal powder will be so much better. I don't really want to make my own, so I hope I can find it. I don't live close to a health food store, so maybe I can find it online.

    The Incredible Power Of Honey

I knew honey has great benefits. but I didn't know how many uses it has. I'm going to start searching for places to get it in my area. I'm already trying to find someone to buy goat's milk from.

    Arthritis

I've been reading about arthritis. It seems strange to me that there are over 100 kinds of arthritis, but you only hear about osteo arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. What's up with that? What are some natural ways of preventing arthritis?

    Doctor - inquiring and friendly

I wish I could find a doctor that would sit down and talk to me. The ones I've been to come in the room for a short time and I feel like they hardly examine me. They never explain anything.

    Osteoporosis

I don't know a whole lot about osteoporosis, but if I were diagnosed with it, I would read as much as I could about it and find out what vitamins, minerals and herbs might help it. I would also read about the prescription drugs that are given for it. Usually, prescription drugs do not treat...

    Antiperspirant vs deoderant

I don't use antiperspirants because I've read the same thing you stated, that it is not good to inhibit the body from perspiring. I use deodorants instead, but would like to find natural ones.
