    Stress-Related Nape Tension and Pain

My brother has been having terrible nape tension and pain, but laboratory test results didn't indicate any health issues. Most likely, the discomfort is stress-related. He is so stressed at work as he was recently promoted, and the fact that he and his wife have had a serious fight might have...

    iron combo's

Tomatoes aren't a favorite, but I have no issues having them. Greenwoman, I also read somewhere that hot cereal is a good source of iron. I checked out some lists of iron-rich foods, and here are some of what's on the list: kidney beans, lentil, broccoli, quinoa, tofu, and dark chocolate.

    Clogged sink

Occasionally, I pour baking soda down the drain, let it sit then pour boiling water or run hot water down the drain. I do it to clear the drain and prevent clogs. I think some use baking soda plus vinegar.

    Getting outside

I am not an outside person either, but I do take time to go out and get some sunshine and fresh air. After hours of sitting in front of the computer, feeling the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the air is refreshing.

    Gargle with what??

I also have to say that you should try gargling with warm salt water. It's what my elders always say. When I have a sore throat, I also drink ginger tea with honey. To me, it gives a soothing effect.

    Does oregano have medicinal properties?

I am not into using oregano for culinary purposes either. I find its smell too strong. In terms of its health benefits, I read that oregano is beneficial to our gastrointestinal health, and because of its anti-fungal properties, it can help heal skin problems.

    The Melt Method

Have you ever heard of the 'Melt Method'? I was at the bookstore a couple of days ago, and I saw this book with that title. With a lot of health and fitness guides and techniques out there, I wonder what makes this one different.

    Makeup

I don't use a lot of makeup. In fact, for my everyday look, I just need pressed powder and lipstick. The only time I get a full makeup is when I attend formal events or special occasions. I haven't tried organic makeup. I bet they're a lot expensive than the regular ones.

Low Melatonin Levels Linked to Diabetes

I think melanin and melatonin are not the same. :) Yes, melanin is the one which gives color to hair. On the other hand, melatonin is the hormone which regulates the body's circadian rhythm.

    Cultivating Patience

My family and friends say that I am a lot more patient than most people are, and I think I am. Of course, there are instances which make me lose my patience, and during these moments, the first thing I usually do is take a deep breath and stay away from the source even just for a...

    Mushrooms

I like mushrooms. In the summer, we drizzle enoki mushrooms with teriyaki or any marinade sauce, wrap in foil, then throw on the grill. We also love sauteed mushrooms. It makes a good side dish.

    Too Much!

My sister-in-law has the same issue. She is very sensitive to scents, and she sneezes a lot when exposed to strong-smelling fragrances. As a result, she rarely wears cologne or perfume, and the lotions and creams that she uses are fragrance-free or mildly-scented.

    Magnesium Supplements

I am afraid I can't recommend you one because I have never taken magnesium supplement though I see bottles of it at health and beauty stores. As to the benefits of magnesium, they say it's also good for cardiovascular health.

    Lost 4 pounds

Losing those extra pounds without having to go the gym for a routine workout or having a diet plan is indeed great! I agree with what the others have said about eating healthy though. You may be losing weight for now, but if you continue to eat badly, it might take its toll on your overall...
