    Christmas scents

    Locococo, that sounds pretty much what our house smells like around Christmas time. My wife buys those cinnamon brooms and boils cinnamon sticks, ginger and nutmeg on the stove to get the scent and also to add humidity to the dry heated air.

    Green Tea

    I love the iced green tea with honey and ginseng. I started drinking it several years ago. I don't think it has helped me to lose weight but it tastes good and is a great substitute for coffee. I used to drink mass quantities of coffee all day long and now I have a cup in the morning and that's it.

    I have been really dragging around lately and I was wondering if anyone knows an herbal remedy that may help me to feel a bit better. I have been sleeping constantly and it just doesn't seem to help when I sleep. Any suggestions?

    Quitting Smoking

    It's a tough habit to break. I know someone who went with the ecigs and they helped her quite a bit. It can be expensive but then so is smoking. Honestly if the tobacco companies hadn't put all of the additives into the tobacco, it wasn't as bad for you when people were smoking in the early years.

    Iodine has been used for many years and is a reliable medication. As far as mouth ulcers, I've never heard of it but it would make sense as long as you don't swallow it. The Betadine ointment is great for wounds. It works very well for any type of scratch.
