The natural scents of fresh herbs are never overpowering and can float from room to room freshening and brightening your surroundings. Different people prefer different herbs and scents for the home, but some herbs will be a perfect fit for a specific room in the home.

Alternative health

Women’s bodies experience great changes throughout life. These complex natural processes have been stigmatized in male-dominated cultures. Women were trivialized, their thoughts and desires dismissed as the irrational products of hysteria. The very word “hysteria” comes from the Greek word for uterus.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy has many rejuvenating aspects that include healing properties. It is a low-cost method for relaxation that promotes healing, and also invites the proper atmosphere for healing through additional herbal methods. Aromatherapy has deep roots in ancient civilizations and has evolved into a modern-day science. Along with the reduction of stress and daily tensions, aromatherapy is successfully used in the treatment of headaches, asthma related breathing problems, insomnia, menstrual cramps, depression and other mental illnesses and the treatment of muscle pain and weakness.

Nutrition

In September 2010, the Centers for Disease Control published the latest results of an ongoing telephone survey in which they ask people over 18 how much fruit and vegetables they eat every day. “State-Specific Trends in Fruit and Vegetable Consumption Among Adults — United States, 2000-2009″ reveals that only 25% of the people surveyed eat vegetables — other than French fries — three or more times a day.
