Thyme for Acne

I was just reading an article about thyme as an effective zit zapper. Researchers found out that thyme tinctures have greater antibacterial properties than standard concentrations of benzoyl peroxide, a compound found in most anti-acne creams and solutions.

I don't suffer from acne, thank God. But my husband has a very bad case of acne. Is this thyme tinctures already available in the market?

I am not sure if thyme tincture is already available at the market. I would like to try it for my pimple-prone face. I tried to search online for ways to make thyme tincture, but the closest thing I found was an article on how to make herbal tinctures in general.
