I have decided that I will start detoxing this week. I have been trying to eat healthier lately. I still feel bloated and "out of sorts". My good friend told me I should start a detox and see how I feel after that. Anyone have any tips?

If you're asking about specific detox diets, I can't recommend one because I have never actually tried any of those. I just try to eat healthy, increase my fiber intake, and drink lots of water. Some people I know swear by starting their morning by drinking a cup of warm water with lemon as their way to detox.

You could try doing a juice fast for a couple of days, or an Epsom salt detoxification bath. I really had my doubts about the bath, but it does work!

There's a dieter's tea out there that really helps when I want to start a detox. It helps to get things moving in a gentle sort of way. Check your local health food store for the brand and flavor you want because there are several to choose from.
