Safflower Oil for Dry Skin

Have you ever heard of safflower oil? I just read that safflower oil, which is made from safflower seeds, contains omega-6 fatty acids that make it good for the skin. Accordingly, safflower oil has moisturizing properties and can benefit skin that is dry, flaky, and affected by eczema.

Sounds logical Cassia. I'm all for anything to moisturize the skin. The older I get the dryer I get. I also use some of the better brand lotions and I've noticed they all contain aloe. Maybe between the safflower oil and the aloe, I can get some moisture back in my skin.

You can buy this in the grocery store can't you? I think I've seen safflower cooking oil. I guess that's what you are talking about Cassia. I'm willing to try anything to help dry skin. The good lotions are getting really expensive. I wonder if you could put some kind of scent in this oil?
