Are there any good herbs I can use to get rid of excess phlegm? My husband has sinus problems and always seems to have phlegm in his throat. What could I give him?
I don't know about herbs for the excess phlegm, but he can try nostril cleansing method. Take a glass of tap water, put a bit salt in it and mix it. Then ingest the water the nostrils and throw it through your mouth.
What about the use of a neti pot instead to help keep his air ways clear of it in the first place? I am not sure of a specific herb either, but the neti does come to mind.
