Right now I have triple brushed my dog this week alone and he is still not shedding off his full undercoat from winter. I thought this only happened once a year. I am wondering if I am doing it wrong or something.
He may need some supplemental vitamins. Or, it could just be the heat that's making him shed more than normal. I would try some fish oil for him and see if that helps anything out.
Dogs who have an under and an over coat, you may have to brush, brush, brush until everything has been shed. You could take your pet to a groomer to have a thorough deshedding done.
Yeah, and I would think it won't be long until they are ready to grow another undercoat for this winter. It all depends on the breed of the dog, but some take constant grooming.
