What else is good for the heart? This seems to be the only thing I read about lately, maybe there is a Hawthorn boom going on that I don't know about. Is there anything else good or is this the best of the best?

Lots of things that are good for the heart. Are you applying this to a specific medical condition or just general heart health? Your question is much too vague. Age, heart condition, hypertension, existing meds all play a part.
You should really have a reading done by a qualified herbalist before you just start taking things. Hawthorn, for example, increases blood flow, but in some people can increase blood pressure.
