Calcium Supplements

With so many forms of calcium available, it's hard to know which one to buy. I've read that some forms are easier for our bodies to absorb than others and that certain amounts of other nutrients, like magnesium and Vitamin D, are necessary for maximum absorption of calcium.

It's very confusing. Can someone please recommend the form of calcium that is the easiest for us to absorb and what other nutrients help maximize absorption?

It's true that there are several calcium supplements in the market. But, why do you want to take calcium supplements? You can as well go for natural calicum rich foods like whole milk, plain yogurt, cheese and eggnog. That way you can supplement calcium deficiency in the body. Take care.

Eating calcium-rich foods is the best choice, of course, but how much of those foods would I need to eat to get enough calcium each day? Wouldn't it be good to take supplements along with eating right?
