Best indoor herbs for winter

I have a couple sunny windows and I'd like to try to grow a few different herbs indoors so I have something fresh to add to foods this winter. I have been successful with a basil plant and mint.

Do you have any "window herbs"?

Not yet, but I'm interested in responses as I really want to attempt a window herb garden. What kind of basil do you grow? My basil plant that I had on my back deck was far too big to have on my windowsill, but I would love to have fresh basil year-round.

No but I am really considering it this year. I would love to pinch off fresh basil for my salads and fresh mint for my tea. What else is good for growing in pots in the winter?

StarGazer - Other than the fact that it's a basil plant, I don't know what variety it is. I bought it in a small pot and have since replanted it in a slightly larger pot. Any information tags from the plant are long gone.

I was thinking about trying some garlic chives and a small rosemary plant but I am not sure if those are good window dwellers.
