Aroma for Headaches?

I'm somewhat sensitive to scent, so strong scents tend to give me a headache. I'm also prone to stress headaches and even suffer from migraines occasionally. Are there any aromas out there that are particularly good at preventing or alleviating headaches?

I like to rub lavender essential oil to my temples whenever I have headaches. Besides lavender, I heard that peppermint and chamomile also help relieve headaches.

I also get headaches from some smells. I'm especially sensitive to the smell of fried and cooked meat and it drives me nuts that my family fries their steaks with open door and the whole house smells like burned fat for hours. Rubbing eucalyptus oil into my temples usually helps me neutralize the smell and relieve headache.

Thanks to both of you for the suggestions. I'll definitely be looking into the lavender, peppermint, chamomile, and eucalyptus oils. I can't stand these stress headaches!
