    Older sibling disagreement

    I really dislike people like that and I have some of them in my family. It makes me want to avoid some of my family functions because I don't want to deal with them. At least it's only once or twice a year.

    I do think there are some very good doctors out there and sometimes drugs work well at treating the problem. I just think that they could look into alternatives to drugs more often. I have had great experiences with doctors in the past.

    They baffle me

    My cat has two bowls of water, one in the kitchen and one upstairs. Still he will sit by the bathroom and sink and wait for somebody to turn the water on. Then he sticks his face under the faucet and tries to drink.

    I admit to skipping breakfast sometimes. When I do eat breakfast it is usually something very light. I get nauseous if I eat too heavy in the morning. I usually settle for fruit. I know I should eat more but I'd rather not feel sick.

    How often should one clean out their system out? Is it a good idea to detox every few months, for example? Is it possible for menstruation to affect detox, thus making a certain time of the month more effective?

    I've read that chocolate is fine to eat but you should avoid caffeine. That's a problem for me because coffee helps me deal. I think it's strange though, that caffeine is not recommended but it's in Midol. I wonder why that is?

    If I was a parent, yes I would want to know that my kid is behaving but I know a lot of parents will not accept it or believe it.

    Is there such a thing as pet psychology? I often wonder what my cat is thinking and if he can understand certain situations. I would be interested in learning more about the psychological aspects of an animal's health.

    I think it's in the training. Those doctors who never received training in alternative treatments are not going to recommend them. It's a disservice to their patients that they don't learn about alternative treatments that might be beneficial.

    Gained 30 Pounds

    30 pounds seems like a big weight gain for just a one month period. Seeing a doctor sounds like the best thing to do. I hope you get good news and it's nothing serious.

    Stubborn

    That's the big issue for me. I'm scared to find out what my problem is sometimes. I don't think it's always an issue of ego, I think some people (men and women) are legitimately scared of the doctor. I think some people have fears as a child they don't grow out of.

    My teachers would always give us peppermint when we were taking standardized tests. Apparently the peppermint is supposed to do something to help you think clearly but I don't know what.

    I usually get stiff or hurt from sitting in one position, especially if I'm in bed leaning on one shoulder or the other. Other than that I haven't noticed anything in terms of headaches or internal pain.

    Stubborn

    I'm extremely stubborn about seeing a doctor. I haven't been to a doctor in 8 years. I know it's not healthy but I just don't want to go. Then again I haven't been very sick in that long either.

    Why is everyone tired?

    I think that everybody is tired because we lives such hectic and stressful lives. We are constantly making decisions, it seems, and we never get a break. That's why I'm always tired at least. :) Since I've started jogging I feel a lot less tired though.
