It's official! Tomorrow we start pulling up the carpet so that we can lay the new engineered hardwood floor. We got it for half price because it was a special order return. It is going to look awesome.

Today I learned that tomatoes are not annuals but perennials. I came across a random tomato plant in the garden area, but I didn't plant any this year. It is a leftover from last year. how weird is that? I am pretty excited about having fresh tomatoes this year though.

We have been on vacation for the last week and tomorrow marks our return to the real world. It's always sad when the vacation ends, but it is nice to be home.
