    Listening to music is a great way to relax. I light some candles and just listen to some smooth sounds. Also, another great way to relax is silence, the flip side of listening to music.

    I love Bollywood films. They are very reflective on Indian culture, very festive. I like the fact that they are becoming a bit more accepted outside of Asia.

    Iron Supplements

    I have never heard of this, but I guess it is worth a try. Is it true that too much iron can cause blood clots? I know that leafy greens are high in iron contents and I have heard of people who eat them all the time getting blood clots.

    My parents had one and still do. I really would like to start one myself. What do you plant in the winter? Does the temperature drop a lot in the winter where you live?

    I do not know about herbs, but I know cassia which is sort of like a clear henna can make your hair shiny. It acts as a glaze so you do not have to worry about it depositing color on your hair.

    Kegels and pumpkin pie! I know the kegels work fast and they have other added benefits. I think the pumpkin seeds have been confirmed in a few studies to help with incontinence.

    Pets with Bad Breathe

    In this case I think it's just the food. However, foul smelling breath can be a sign of more serious problems, even lung cancer. If you change your cats food and the smell still lingers, take him to a vet.

    I agree with CindyJ, try to consume more foods and beverages fortified with calcium. Also try to up your intake of other dairy products. Have you ever thought of mixing fruit with yogurt, it tastes so much better that way.

    Yes, cinnamon has been proven to help regulate blood sugar levels. I wonder if any drugs are being developed using cinnamon. Also, isn't cinnamon a spice?

    Lavender pillows

    I used to sprinkle lavender oil on my pillow to help me sleep. I would just do that instead of buying one of those pillows, unless it's infused with other oils.

    Something to get me moving in the morning?

    Orange oil could help with that. It's supposed to provide you with energy to get you up and running. If you don't have any handy, trying eating an orange itself or having some orange juice; I am sure the smell of either of those can get you going.

    I have been seeing this type of yoga pop up everywhere; it seems like a new craze. What is so special about this form versus traditional forms? Is it more focused on weight loss than relaxation?

    Exercise

    I exercise at least 4 days a week. I always do cardio in the form of running or swimming and I always do some type of resistance training exercise during each workout session.

    Laugh

    I remember reading a statistic that children laughed something like 200 times a day while most adults laughed on average 7 times a day. This is why I love children and I always try to spend some time around them often, whether it's from tutoring or volunteering because they keep me laughing.

    Morning or evening?

    The morning hours a good for me because I can get it out of the way. However, doing light activities in the evening seem to make me sleep even better.

    Colonic?

    Has anyone here ever had continued success with colonics? I tried one when I was a teen and I liked how I felt afterwards, but I never continued. I would like to start again, but I was wondering if anyone here has had any luck cleansing via colonic sessions.
