    Kidney stones

Thank you for sharing that. I consider myself lucky that I've never had kidney stones, but the thought crosses my mind every now and then. That remedy will be saved in the back of my mind if I ever need it.

    Microwaving technology that sterilizes food

It is an interesting advancement, but it is man-made. When we make man-made advancements to something that is natural there are going to be side effects because we simply cannot replicate what nature does.

    B6 pulled off the market...

You're right SoftRain, it does suck. This is why people are turning to more natural remedies I think, they want to regain more control over their own health again.

    Anyone here try SUP?

I'm just trying to picture how a person can paddle standing up. Maybe the word paddle is a misnomer, but how exactly does this work?

    Tired of the gunk eye

I've heard that Butterbur works really well. I don't really get allergies too much so I don't have to remedy them, but I would start with Butterbur.

    Ticks

I have cats and dogs that are outside more than they are inside, so I think I'll try the brewers yeast. That sounds effective. I have a 10 week old puppy, and all he eats yet is food softened with water, so this sounds like a good fit.

    Fragrance Oils

Does anyone here use fragrance oils on candles? If so, how much do you apply, and do you apply it directly to the top of the candle? I'm not really sure how to use it.

    I Need To Make More

That's one of things I should really stock up on as well. Scented candles are nice, but the more basic candles I need a lot of "just in case".

    Prostate Issues

I've heard about palmetto as well. It's been written about, tried and so far I haven't heard any bad reviews. But yes, I would see a doctor about that.

    Beef Recall

I just caught a little bit of this on the news about a major beef recall. I think it was 50,000 pounds. Does anyone know about more details of this?

    Smart shopping app

I don't think the stores have to be online. They search all stores that have an online presence. I've never used this app, but I've heard it's pretty useful.

    Sore throat

It sounds like a virus if it's inconsistent like that. I would just rest and re-group. These things tend to happen when you try to take on more than you're used to.

    Preventing a heart attack?

Doesn't Bayer aspirin advertise their product as helping to prevent heart attacks? There are a lot of products out there that can do this that are over the counter and not that expensive.

    Learned something new

It's a good surprise indeed when this happens with a food plant. It doesn't happen a lot from what I hear, but when it does it's a pleasant surprise.

    Laying new floor

Are you going to lay down area rugs to accent it all? That's what I did and I think it looks pretty good. It's soft on the feet too.

    Beta Alanine

I haven't heard of this particular acid in general, but amino acids are healthy for you. This sub-group is probably the same. If it's FDA approved, it's probably good to go.

    A Home Network

How hard do you think it would be to set up a home network between 2 laptops? One is Dell and the other is a Gateway.

    Baby Names

George Alexander is a good, solid sounding name. You're right though, he should use Alexander or Alex. It's still a "manly" name, but not as gruff sounding as George.

    Baby Names

So what do you think the royal couple is going to name their baby? Last I heard they still haven't decided. What do you think a good male name would be that is fitting for royalty?

    Herb Book

Books like that never grow old do they? The many uses for herbs never change over time. It's just interesting to see something that you long ago forgot, or never knew in the first place.
