    Essential oils instead of tranquilizers

I was just reading where essential oils like jasmine and ylang-ylang cause one to go into an excited or euphoric state. It's advised to use them instead of tranquilizers and sleeping pills. I'd like to know about others since I do have trouble sleeping sometimes.

    Jack Russell Terrier

We have the chance to get a baby Jack Russell Terrier. Are they hard to keep healthy? I hear they make excellent pets, and we're excited about having a new puppy in the house. What brands of dog food are healthiest these days for this breed?

    Imaging therapy

I have read where imaging therapy is a great way of relaxing. It involves lying still, shutting out everything around you, and trying to conjure up mental images of pleasant experiences, places or situations. I try to do this three or four times a week.

Boil your water with Neti Pots

It bears repeating, according to "The Doctors" program recently. Questions were raised about bacteria getting into the brain with the use of Neti Pots from the water in a few places. Dogs and outdoors

I have volunteered to let my sister-in-law's dog stay in our back yard a week while she goes to Florida. We have a fenced in area and we'd take care of feeding and watering her full-grown German Shep. My question is whether I can let the dog spend the night in temperatures that get down to...

    When to see a chiropractor

Do only those who are having severe back pain visit a chiropractor? I have a few little twitches now and then and wonder if a chiropractor can work like a massage therapist? Does a good workout on the back help prevent all those little twinges now and perhaps major problems later?

    Tai Chi

One of my friends goes to Tai Chi classes and talks about how it is good for improving circulation, increasing flexibility and achieving better balance. Does anyone here take Tai Chi?

    Art and relaxation

I enjoy doing art work as a form of relaxation. Does anyone here like to draw, sketch, sculpt or do other forms of creative expression through various media? I find it's good to get my brain in a different dimension and immerse myself in my art, even if I'm not all that good at it.
