    Flexitarianism

I was reading an article on the health and fitness trends for 2014, and on the list was flexitarianism. This caught my attention because it sounded like a big word to me at first. However, after further reading, the term actually means semi-vegetarian. A flexitarian is someone who eats a mostly...

    Flat stomach

I have been trying to follow this method though I must admit that there are certain days in which I fall off the wagon. I have yet to experience noticeable results, but I know it takes time to achieve such.

    Cleansing Teas?

I usually drink just regular green tea and roasted brown rice green tea, which I have just recently discovered. Not so sure about teas that have special cleansing effects, but maybe you should try those with herbal ingredients such as dandelion tea.

How often do you wash your hair?

I wash my hair every single day because if I don't, it turns greasy and limp. I have also tried washing my hair every other day, but I didn't like how it looked and felt. What I do is dilute my shampoo with water in the hope of reducing the effects of the chemicals contained in the product.

    Aloe Vera Juice

I have also tried drinking one of those aloe vera juices that you can buy at stores, so I got curious when I came across homemade aloe vera juice recipes. As to the health benefits of aloe vera juice, they say that it promotes digestive health and strengthens the immune system.

    Aloe Vera Juice

Surely, there are aloe vera drinks on the market, but wouldn't it be better if you make your own especially if you grow your own aloe vera plant? Has anyone tried making their own? I went through some recipes, and they suggested adding citrus fruits or citrus-based juice to the aloe gel and...

    Honey for Coughs

Whenever I have cough or colds, I turn to making myself a cup of tea with honey and lemon. The drink is soothing and a good home remedy. For some reason, I can't eat honey as is.

    In-grown nail

Some people I know who have in-grown nails remove them by using clippers or tweezers. I have a friend though who had her in-grown nail surgically removed.

    Garlic makes me nauseated

I am not really a fan of garlic particularly its smell. Anyway, it looks like you're developing an allergy to it. I can't think of any other reason or probable explanation.

    Bubble baths and yeast infections

I read somewhere before that bubble baths may cause irritation increasing one's susceptibility to yeast infections. I agree with PaloVerde. You can still have your bubble baths, but choose products that are milder and more gentle to the skin.

    Dry Skin

Dry skin has always been my problem during the winter months. The skin on my fingertips gets really dry and cracked and my legs scaly. I moisturize my skin by frequently putting on lotion or cream, but it doesn't totally solve the issue.

    A week without meat?

I haven't tried going a full week without meat. I try to cut down on meat, and there have been very few days in which I was able to get through the day without meat. As such, I couldn't really tell or feel its effect on my body though.

    Cilantro for Mercury Detox

I was just going over a list of herbs and spices that can help the body get rid of toxins. One of them was cilantro. Accordingly, cilantro aids the body in releasing heavy metals such as mercury .

    Sharing a doctor

It seems really odd. I don't think I know anyone who doesn't want to share a doctor with their spouse. Maybe your husband isn't just into letting any other person know about his health concerns.

    Lemongrass Oil Aromatherapy

I haven't tried lemongrass oil, but I do like lemongrass, particularly its smell. I have tried lemongrass tea, and it was good. I would love to sip a cup of the tea again.
